Chapter 239 Moody Integrates Into the Castle
After the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the fourth grade, every student who had finished the class was in a heavy mood.
They walked out of the classroom with heavy hearts, and looked at the other little wizards laughing and talking in the corridor of the castle, and they all felt as if they were in another world.
Sherlock did not tell them any great truths afterwards, but simply told them that this was just a picture of countless memories in the mind of the former Auror who was now the castle guard at Hogwarts.
There were some more unbearable memories, but he did not choose them.
After assigning the homework, Sherlock reminded them that the teaching method of the next few classes would be the same. After personally observing the scenes of the Imperius Curse and the Killing Curse, he announced the end of the get out of class.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione still walked out of the classroom together, but no one of the three wanted to speak first. They just looked at each other and walked towards the Gryffindor Common Room together.
On the way, they also met Neville, who looked like he was scared to death, his face was pale, and he walked back alone in silence.
Ron greeted him, and he responded with a stutter that looked no different from usual.
This made Ron whisper to Harry and Hermione.
"I thought Neville would be scared to death. I guess he was like those Hufflepuff students and didn't dare to watch the wizard being tortured by the Cruciatus Curse."
Also after class, Sherlock just walked to the door of his office and saw Silk standing there waiting for him.
He asked in confusion.
"I remember you should have another class later? What do you want to see me for?"
Silk said with a straight face.
"Fiddlesticks, who was imprisoned in the Department of Mysteries of the German Ministry of Magic, escaped again."
Sherlock was surprised.
"Escaped again? Is your old employer's defense so lax? It escaped just like that?"
"Someone used the Imperius Curse to control a Unspoken Man and helped Fiddlesticks open the cell where it was imprisoned. The German Ministry of Magic did not find out who that person was, but my former boss, the Director of the Department of Mysteries, wrote to me and guessed that Fiddlesticks might come to us."
Sherlock touched his chin, he pushed open the door of his office, and walked in with Silk.
"It wants revenge? The purpose of escaping is too simple, isn't it?"
Silk shook his head with a serious face.
"I was the one who was in charge of guarding it before, and I know it better than others. It is a very vengeful thing. If it has the ability, the first thing it will do after escaping must be to destroy the Department of Mysteries that has imprisoned it for hundreds of years without hesitation, but it obviously does not have this ability now. If it wants to find a target for revenge, it will most likely come to us first."
Sherlock couldn't help but twitch his mouth when he heard what she said.
"Well, even if it is eager for revenge, are we really that easy to deal with? We caught it before, so some things were a little troublesome, but if it comes to me this time, how can it be sure that it is my opponent?"
"I didn't predict it." Silk shook his head gently, "But things are definitely not that simple, especially the person who released Fiddlesticks, his purpose is the key, I always feel that the person's target is actually you."
Sherlock's face was slightly startled, and then he narrowed his eyes, as if he thought of something.
"The target is me... That's really rare, I don't have many enemies in the magic world."
Silk didn't stay with Sherlock for long, she still had a sixth grade class to go to later.
"If it really wants to take revenge, then its biggest target must be you, you must be careful recently."
"Don't worry, I won't leave Hogwarts unless there is something going on during this period." Sherlock smiled and waved his hand, indicating that she was relieved.
After Silk left, the expression on his face slowly became calm, his eyes were deep, and I didn't know what he was thinking.
Hogwarts was calm in the following days.
The Triwizard Tournament officially started a few days before Halloween in late October. The students were still enthusiastic about the competition that had not yet started, but their study and life in the castle also continued.
Harry could clearly notice that George and Fred seemed to be planning something recently. They rarely showed up in the Gryffindor Common Room. They always whispered to each other in front of a piece of parchment away from everyone.
According to the news Ron had secretly found out, the Weasley twins were now concentrating on studying how to increase their age by a few months to meet the standard that only students over 17 years old could register for the Triwizard Tournament.
Harry felt that the possibility of their success was very low. If they were really allowed to get away with it, the competition would definitely be a mess.
After the first Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Sherlock gave them two more classes on the Imperius Curse and the Killing Curse in the same way. The memories they saw were still from Moody's mind.
Now, whenever the fourth grade students see Moody in the castle, they can't help but straighten their backs with a look of awe on their faces, which is completely different from their previous attitude of subconsciously wanting to stay away from him.
There were even a few braver boys who wanted to work as Aurors in the Ministry of Magic and approached Moody shamelessly to ask him about the Auror Command.
Although Moody looked rude, he had a warm heart.
One of his most famous deeds was that he had persuaded many Aurors who were wavering between the Ministry of Magic and the Death Eaters to turn back (not with a wand pointing at their noses, but with his mouth).
He never refused any Hogwarts students who came to chat with him, and was happy to point out some of their shortcomings in spells.
This made the new castle guard who came to work in the castle very popular among the students, which was completely opposite to the reputation of another castle manager Filch among the young wizards.
The first day of October was getting closer and closer to the start of the Triwizard Tournament.
That evening, when Harry and his friends walked out of the Potions classroom and were about to return to the common room, he suddenly stopped at a corner in the underground corridor.
"What is that?"
He looked at an empty classroom that had been empty for years. Through the window, he always felt that something was staring at him.
Ron and Hermione followed his gaze but saw nothing. However, Harry still did not give up. He pushed open the door of the empty classroom and the three of them walked in together.
It was empty inside, with no one there. There was only a piece of dry straw on the desk in the middle of the classroom, which was either blown in by the wind or left by someone.
