The Druid Master of Hogwarts

Chapter 673 O.W.L. Exam (Part 1)

The O.W.L. exam will last for two weeks. Theory exam in the morning, practical exam in the afternoon, and practical exam for astronomy in the evening.

The first exam is the theory of spells, scheduled for Monday morning.

On Sunday, the atmosphere in Hogwarts became more anxious, and Hermione carried a book wherever she went.

Only Fish was different. He still looked leisurely and had fun everywhere, not taking the upcoming O.W.L. exam seriously at all.

"Fish is so good, why should I worry about the test results?"

(ω)

When Hermione asked, the cat answered like this, and he looked at Hermione in confusion, "Aren't your grades always good? Why am I so unconfident? And didn't you always like exams before?"

After being reminded by Fish, although Hermione was still a little nervous, she finally stopped being as weird as before, and even took time to play with the cat for a while.

At dinner time, Dumbledore led a small group of old wizards and witches through the Great Hall and into the staff lounge next to it.

"Oh, my God," Hermione stared at their backs and whispered, "Is that them? Are they the examiners?"

After seeing the members of the Wizarding Examinations Authority arrive, she was originally a little relaxed, but suddenly became nervous again.

This night was very uncomfortable. Everyone (except the cat) wanted to seize the last minute to review, but it seemed that no one had made much progress.

Originally, Fish wanted to go out for a stroll, but Professor McGonagall warned him not to run around in advance. He asked Hermione to stick with him, but she perfunctorily pushed him away. In the end, the unhappy cat had to go back to the dormitory early to sleep.

The next day at breakfast, the fifth-year students didn't talk much. Parvati practiced the spell silently, and the salt shaker in front of her was twisting rapidly. Hermione was reviewing "Spell Achievement". She read so fast that her eyes looked blurry. Neville kept dropping the knife and fork in his hand, and spilled the orange marmalade.

After breakfast, the other students went to class, and the fifth and seventh grade students wandered around in the entrance hall. At half past nine, they were called into the hall one by one.

The hall had been rearranged. The four house tables were moved away and replaced by many single desks, all facing the staff table at the end of the hall. Professor McGonagall stood in front of them.

After everyone sat down and quieted down, Professor McGonagall said, "You can start." She turned over a huge hourglass on the table next to her. There were also spare quills, ink bottles and rolls of parchment on the table.

Fish opened the test paper in front of him and glanced at the questions on it...

"It's not that difficult. Isn't it similar to the previous exams? Why are you so scared?"

(ω)

The cat scratched its head curiously and asked loudly.

"Keep quiet!" Professor McGonagall glared at the little cat fiercely.

"Ah~"

(`O)

Fish pouted, then shook his body from side to side as if he had fleas on his body, while writing on the test paper.

About an hour later, Maomao threw the quill in his hand on the table and raised his arm high.

"Minerva~Fish is done, meow!"

(≧≦)

"Leave quickly after you finish, don't disturb others." Professor McGonagall waved her hand unhappily and sent Fish out.

Except for Fish, no one else handed in the paper early, even though they had already filled in the paper, so it was not until the end of the two-hour exam that Fish, who was playing with his tail outside, saw others coming out of the Great Hall.

"Hermione~"

●ω●

Maomao dropped his tail and pounced on Hermione.

Then he heard Hermione chattering: "Fish, how did you answer the question about the happy spell? Have you written out the spell to break the hiccups? I don't know whether I should write it or not. I seem to have written too much... and there is the twenty-third question..."

"Hermione, wake up. Even if I tell you the answer now, you can't change it."

(ω)

Fish looked at her depressedly, then reached out and pinched her mouth.

"Mmmmm..."

Hermione, who was still mumbling, made a few strange grumbles and finally became normal.

After resting for a while in the open space outside the castle, everyone returned to the hall to have lunch with other students in the school (the four college tables appeared again at lunch time), and then lined up to walk into the small room next to the hall, waiting to be called to take the practical test.

A small group of students were called away in alphabetical order, and the students who stayed behind muttered spells, practiced wand movements, and occasionally stabbed others in the back or eyes by mistake.

Hermione, whose last name starts with G, and Seamus, whose last name starts with F, were the first to be called away. They did not return after the exam, so everyone did not know what the practical exam would be about, and could only continue to practice as much as possible.

"Morghra McDowell - Ernie MacMillan - Draco Malfoy - Fash McGonagall." After a while, Professor Flitwick, who was standing at the door, called out.

Fash stood up and walked over with the other three people whose names were called.

"Professor Marchbank is free, Fash." Professor Flitwick patted Fash's arm, then pointed to a hunched, thin witch in the hall.

"Fish Mag." Professor Marchban looked at the cat-eared boy who came to him and said with a smile: "I've heard about this name for a long time."

"Hello meow!"

(ΦωΦ)

Maomao greeted her calmly.

"Let's see how well you learn the Levitation Spell first," Professor Marchban pointed at a wine glass on the table, "Let it fly, and then do a few cartwheels."

This was not difficult for Fish at all. He took out his wand and instead of waving it according to the standard wand movements, he casually tapped the wine glass, and the wine glass flew into the air obediently, and then under Fish's command , made all kinds of fancy moves.

"Silent spell!" Professor Marchban exclaimed loudly, causing the other examiners to look over, but the other examinees looked as if they were used to it.

At this moment, Harry, Pansy and the Patil sisters also walked in, and Harry walked directly to the examiner next to Fish who looked the oldest and had the baldest head.

"Harry, you're here, meow." Fish waved to Harry.

(ΦωΦ)

While he was distracted, the wine glass in mid-air immediately lost control and fell from above. Maomao stretched out his hand without even looking, and the wine glass fell firmly into his hand.

After putting the wine glass back on the table, Feishu shook his ears and asked, "Is this okay?"

"Of course, your performance exceeded expectations!" Professor Marchban praised, and then she asked with a hint of expectation: "Can you cast spells without a wand?"

Maomao tilted his head, "I don't know, Fisch will give it a try, meow." He put the wand aside and shook his finger at the wine glass.

The wine glass on the table shook violently a few times, then floated tremblingly, looking unsteady.

Fei Xu wagged his fingers again, and the wine glass swung in the air a few times before returning to its trembling state.

"It seems that this is the only way it can be done, meow." The wine glass fell back on the table, and Fish shrugged.

"It's already great!" Professor Marchban clapped his hands, then took out a mouse from under the table and said, "Next let's try the color-changing spell..."

Afterwards, Professor Marchban tested Fisch on several kinds of magic spells, but none of them could stump Fisch. Not only did he complete all the requirements perfectly, but he also did not recite any spells during the whole process. After Fisch finished the exam, all the examiners were there. Under the leadership of Professor Marchban, Maomao was applauded.
