Chapter 268: Bell Sound
Fan Lin felt that his soul was about to be frozen. The coldness and silence of the Dementor's kiss eroded his soul all the time.
Of course, this was not the most miserable. Harry kept making painful sounds under the Dementor's mouth. I don't know when Harry became the target of the Dementor's attack.
However, no one could save them now. They persisted for a long enough time, but no one came here. The three of them seemed to be forgotten.
"Get out of my way!" Fan Lin said. He tried his best, as if he wanted to cast a spell, but the dry lake could not bring him any magic.
The white mist rose in front of Fan Lin's eyes, which made him lose his vision. His hard resistance finally made him welcome the attention of the Dementors. They were going to attack him. Fan Lin could clearly feel that the emotions in his body were constantly passing away. The suction was not strong, but it was very continuous. He had to fight. He had to find a way to cut off this connection.
"EpectoPatronum!"
Fan Lin shouted, he tried to recall the image of the first time he cast the Patronus Charm.
But under the influence of the Dementors, his memory became less clear, and Fan Lin began to panic.
"EpectoPatronum!"
Fan Lin said unwillingly, he tried to think about his friends, Hermione, Harry and even Ron.
Suddenly, the image of Hermione in Fan Lin's mind was slightly magnified. This was the power brought to him by the girl, but it was very unrealistic. The lake of magic had dried up, and he didn't know what he should pay.
But this was not the time for him to think about it with peace of mind. He tried hard to chant the spell, and the spells he usually cast skillfully became so obscure at this moment.
"E...EXpecto...Patr...onum!"
The familiar silver light returned to Fan Lin's face again, which made people feel very warm, but Fan Lin's body came with a sharp pain, dry and cracked, and Fan Lin's spirit seemed to burst.
The silver light of the Patronus spell successfully dispelled the Dementors beside him. Fan Lin gritted his teeth, and there were some blood stains at the corners of his mouth. He bit his lips, which seemed to give him some strength.
He used his wand to control the hard-won physical Patronus. His Patronus kept circling outside. He controlled the Patronus to expel the Dementors lying on Harry and Sirius.
However, the fog around did not dissipate. A blue spell appeared on the palm of Fan Lin's hand, and the ice shell slowly enveloped the three people.
But this did not last long. A gray arm smashed the ice shell he built.
Fan Lin raised his head with some difficulty. His Patronus was still colliding outside, but a more brutal look appeared in front of him.
His Patronus was too weak. The Patronus, who originally played the role of a hunter, was surrounded by five or six Dementors.
They kept trying, and finally, a Dementor that looked stronger stretched out his gray arm, and with just one blow, he completely tore Fanlin's Patronus apart, and they began to suck the scattered Patronus fragments.
The Patronus is a beautiful combination of human wizards, and these are the food of Dementors. The barely condensed Patronus is of no use in the face of so many Dementors.
Fanlin groaned, and the backlash of the spell was reflected back to his body, and he spurted out a mouthful of blood from his mouth.
The surroundings were foggy, and Fanlin could not see again... In the distance, he heard the familiar scream... Call to God... Guardian... He groped for Harry in the fog... Found his arm... They couldn't take him away... But a pair of strong, cold and wet hands suddenly strangled Fanlin's neck. It forced him to look up... He could feel its breath... It had to get rid of Fanlin first... He could feel its rancid breath... Voldemort's terrifying face... The huge beast... And her mother's trembling voice... She would be the last voice he would hear... Then, the mist was drowning him, and he thought he saw a silver light, getting brighter and brighter...
It seemed to be someone's patronus... Fanlin thought silently, he hadn't completely fainted yet, he saw a blue light ball floating in Sirius' mouth, it seemed to be the crystallization of Sirius' life, his soul.
However, the light ball didn't float far, it was up and down in the air, and the hazy light of the Patronus Charm seemed to be pressing the light ball back into Sirius' body.
However, this seemed a bit forced, there were too many Dementors, even if the Patronus Charm was very powerful, it kept driving the Dementors out, but these Dementors always pounced back without giving up.
Fanlin struggled to prop up his body, he seemed to want to see who released the Patronus, but the light was too bright. So much so that he couldn't see anything else.
It seemed to be a boy, standing on the other side of the lake. His patronus was a stag, and circles of silver light spread out from his patronus.
His patronus was very powerful, and he was able to drive so many Dementors away.
However, his patronus was not strong enough, and he couldn't hurt the Dementors completely. All he could do was to keep driving the Dementors away.
However, this did not last long. The Dementors kept inhaling and they made a terrifying sound of "Shha".
Fanlin saw another person standing up. The man raised his hand and cast a Patronus spell. The hazy white light merged into the stag. This seemed to form a war of attrition to see who could not hold on first.
However, although the Dementors were restrained, their number was too large.
Fanlin was a little desperate. He didn't know who was on the other side of the lake, but this degree was obviously not enough to help them get out of the predicament in front of them.
Fanlin looked up at the sky helplessly. The Dementors were still rushing in, and they kept hitting each other with their bodies.
Suddenly, Fanlin felt that the sky in the distance was a little bright, as if the moon reappeared in the sky. The light was a little distant and looked very unreal.
Then, a vast bell sounded as if it came from the end of the light.
Fanlin's heart seemed to miss a beat. The bell sounded in his heart, as if it was vibrating beside his soul.
Before Fan Lin had time to take a closer look, he fainted after the bell rang. His body felt warm, as if someone had pounced on him. (To be continued)
