Chapter 987: Accidental Injury

Ministry of Magic decrees that Dolores Jane Umbridge (Attorney General) replaces Albus Dumbledore as Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The above is signed as in Decree 8: Cornelius Oswald Fudge.

The night before the Ministry of Magic issued the decree, the news spread throughout the school, but they did not explain why everyone in the castle seemed to know that Dumbledore had defeated an Auror, the Attorney General, the Minister of Magic and his young assistant on the run.

No matter where the parties were in the castle, the only topic of conversation was Dumbledore's escape, but some details might have been lost in the repetition (Fenlin overheard a girl in her grade confidently say that another Fudge was now lying in St. Munk's Hospital with a pumpkin on his head. This was simply a joke. The Minister of Magic was injured? Dumbledore didn't hurt them.)

In fact, Fenlin wanted to leave Hogwarts with Dumbledore that day, but the bad thing was that the list was in Umbridge's hands. If he left directly with Dumbledore, Umbridge's anger would definitely be vented on Hermione and others.

Naturally, Fenlin and others still stayed in Gryffindor Tower.

However, what was surprising was what the rest of the accurate information was.

Everyone knew, for example, that Harry, Fenlin and Marida were the only students who saw the incident in Dumbledore's office, and Marida was now in the hospital. Naturally, Fenlin felt surrounded by invitations, and people wanted to know the first-hand description.

Fortunately, Harry was there, so he could hide. After all, apart from attending classes, Vanlin usually stayed in the Room of Requirement.

He was fully capable of avoiding being discovered, but this was a problem for Harry.

Never underestimate the curiosity of the people around you.

Harry told this story at least ten times, and even so, there were still many people asking on the way.

"Dumbledore will be back soon," Thomas said confidently on the way back from the Herbology class, just as he listened attentively to Harry's story repeated again.

"They didn't kick him out in their year, and they can't kick him out this year. The fat monk told me -" Thomas lowered his voice conspiratorially, so that several people had to move closer to him, "- that Umbridge tried to get into his office last night, after they searched the entire castle to find him. She couldn't get through the monster, and the headmaster's office sealed itself off."

Ernie smiled smugly. "Of course, she was in a normal rage."

"Oh, I hope she's sitting in the headmaster's office fantasizing," Hermione said maliciously as they were going up the stairs to return to the Great Hall. "Rules over all the other teachers, stupidly proud, mad old -"

"Now, do you really want to finish your sentence, Granger?" Draco Malfoy appeared behind the door, followed closely by Crabbe and Goyle.

His pale, pointed face was malicious.

"I'm afraid I'll have to take some points from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff," he said lazily.

"Only teachers can take points from houses, Malfoy," Ernie said quickly.

"Ha, we're prefects too, remember?" Ron growled. "I know prefects can't take points, Weasley," Malfoy sneered. Crabbe and Goyle chuckled.

"But the members of the questioning group -" Hermione said sternly.

"The inquiry team, Granger," Malfoy said, pointing to a small piece of silver. "It's on the back of my tuxedo prefect's badge, selected by the Ministry of Magic, the best students, personally selected by Professor Umbridge. Anyway, members of the inquiry team can deduct points, so, Granger, I'll take five points from you for insulting the headmistress. Ernie, you refuted me, so you deduct five points. Deduct five points because I don't like you, Potter. Weasley, your shirt is coming apart, so deduct another five points. Oh, yes, I forgot, you are a mudblood, Granger, so deduct ten points." "You should be more careful, Malfoy." Flin stepped forward and squinted at Malfoy. In fact, it has been a long time since anyone dared to call Hermione that, and the last person... "No, Flin." Hermione pulled Flin's arm with her hand. "Smart move, Granger," Malfoy said breathlessly. "New headmaster, new era, be good, Al, this is not the time for you to be tough, of course, including you Potter, Weasley."

"Do you really think so?" Fan Lin said in a deep voice.

"Or, what do you want, Al? Openly violate the rules of Hogwarts?"

"This is not the rule of Hogwarts!" Harry said.

"Oh no, it's Potter now, you have to figure out the situation." Malfoy said arrogantly.

"It seems that you guys are still living in a dream, let me count, openly violate the law enforcement team, talk about the new headmaster of Hogwarts, Ms. Umbridge, behind her back, and..."

"What else?" Fan Lin said indifferently.

Kara and Goyle laughed foolishly in the back.

"Are you going to cooperate, Al, but it seems a little too late now." Malfoy said, "Let me count, these crimes, Gryffindor will be deducted 50 points."

"Fifty points?" Ron shouted exaggeratedly. In fact, except for Snape, no one has ever deducted such a large number of points from them.

"Yes, that's right, it's fifty points." Malfoy smiled, then turned around and planned to leave.

"Oh, no, I think you calculated the score wrong." Fan Lin said.

"Extra points for me seeing you unhappy."

"I'm not saying this, I'm saying that apart from this, there should be fifty points to be deducted."

"Fifty points left?" Malfoy was a little confused, but he immediately laughed.

"I'm afraid you're going crazy because of your disappointment. However, since you want to deduct 50 points more, of course I don't mind complying with your request. Or can you help me think of a reason?" Malfoy asked sarcastically, looking at He stood up and looked like he was asking Fan Lin for his opinion.

"Ignore him, Fanlin, let's go. There is no need for us to be angry with him." Hermione advised, "Otherwise Umbridge will definitely make trouble for us."

"This is something that cannot be avoided, Hermione." Fan Lin said quietly, and then turned his head to Malfoy.

"In fact, since I have brought it up, I will naturally help you think of a reason..." Fan Lin paused, "Then, how about using magic casually in the corridor and accidentally hurting the flowers and plants?" (Unfinished) to be continued)
