Chapter 146 Cedric the Savior
On the first day of the new school year, Fred and George became the focus of everyone.
Even when they returned to the common room, the topic of the young wizards was still about them.
"Do you think the Weasley brothers can really sell that kind of candy?"
Cedric sat on the sofa and asked doubtfully: "Professor McGonagall will not agree."
"It's definitely not okay to make a big fanfare." Kyle thought for a while and said: "But as long as you don't get caught, it's okay. The school also prohibits bringing dung eggs and filipino fireworks into the castle, but haven't you seen enough of those things?
Professors are usually very busy, and they don't have time to take care of such trivial matters."
"That's different." Cedric frowned.
He remembered that before the start of school, the Weasley brothers told him that those candies were used to help young wizards skip classes... Can the professor ignore this?
In response, Kyle shrugged and said that he didn't know.
However, based on his understanding of Fred and George, the two of them probably have already thought of a solution.
And unless they were caught in the act, the professors probably wouldn't suspect Fred and George.
They would just think that this candy was a product of Zonko or other joke shops, and finally put the Fat Tongue Toffee on the list of contraband.
Hmm... maybe that's the case.
As a regular program for Hufflepuffs, make-up homework after school is definitely indispensable.
As more and more people came to the common room, Kyle and Cedric returned to their respective dormitories, giving their seats to students who wanted to create miracles.
Their dormitory was still the same as last year, except that there was a sign on the door that said "Second Grade".
The furnishings in the room had not changed at all, and it was very clean. It should have been cleaned in advance by the house elves.
Kyle lay on the bed, looking at everything familiar in front of him, and his consciousness soon blurred.
Because he went to bed early, Kyle got up early the next day and went to the eighth floor of the castle alone.
Because the Room of Requirement can perfectly simulate the natural environment, and the Moon Beast will fertilize it every day, so even if Kyle didn't take care of it for two months, the flower garden is still good.
But there are definitely some changes.
The most obvious one is the Devil's Snare, which is closest to the Moon Beast's lair. It is much larger than it was two months ago. The tendrils have become as thick as a wrist and darker in color.
Also, the biting cabbage planted before the holiday has sprouted, and its fist-sized mouth is opening and closing. Kyle estimates that they will start to grow teeth in a week or two.
The white mulberry and rue are also growing well, a large and lush area.
The Moon Beast is sleeping.
The Billywig was playing in the sky. When it saw Kyle, it immediately flew over with the propeller on its head.
Kyle subconsciously took a step back, said hello to it briefly, and left the Room of Requirement.
This little guy seemed a little too excited today. He flew around Kyle and completely forgot that he had a poison needle on his body.
Kyle didn't want to be stung by it.
After leaving the Room of Requirement, Kyle went down the stairs and returned to the auditorium.
There were already quite a few people sitting in the hall. They gathered in groups of three or four, looking at the Gryffindor table and whispering.
"It's over there, look."
"Where?"
"Next to the tall red-haired boy, the one with glasses."
"Harry Potter!"
"Did you see his face... the scar!"
Harry looked very unaccustomed to this kind of gaze. He lowered his head and ate his breakfast quickly.
Kyle walked to the Hufflepuff table.
Fred and George were also here, and they were talking to Cedric.
"Homework, Cedric, you have to save us."
Fred said pitifully: "I didn't expect there would be a Potions class on the first day of the new school year. If I can't hand in my homework on time..."
George shuddered and said: "Snape will definitely kill us."
"I can lend you the homework." Cedric said: "But the class is about to start. Are you sure it's still in time now?"
"It should be in time."
Fred nodded repeatedly and said: "Our second class is Potions, so we can finish it in Divination class."
"Okay then." Cedric thought for a while and said: "I'll get it for you after breakfast."
"Thank you so much!"
Fred and George looked at Cedric with gratitude.
"You saved our lives!"
Cedric just smiled slightly. From last night to now, he has saved many people.
Kyle sat next to the Weasley brothers and asked curiously, "Have you chosen Divination?"
"Divination and Care of Magical Creatures."
Fred said, "You must choose Divination. Charlie said that it is easy to get high scores in this course, and the class is also very relaxing."
"As long as we make ourselves look miserable when Professor Clelawney asks us, we can do what we like to our heart's content."
George said, "I suggest you choose Divination next year as well. This course is a blessing for students."
"You can really consider this."
Kyle looked at the two of them, hesitated for a moment, and suddenly said, "If possible, I suggest you choose another Ancient Magic Rune course."
"Why do you say that?"
Fred asked in confusion: "It is said that this course is very difficult."
"It should be said that it is very difficult." George frowned and said: "During the holidays, Percy spent most of his time watching this."
"That's true."
Kyle nodded and said: "But haven't you always wanted to open a joke shop? Ancient magic is very helpful for alchemy."
Alchemy?
Fred and George looked at each other, and they understood what Kyle meant.
Those joke products are also one of the alchemy items. If this is the case, then the ancient magic is indeed very useful to them.
"Kyle, why did you say such an important thing now?" George scratched his hair and said.
Now that the course selection is over, if they want to take the ancient magic, they can only ask Professor McGonagall to apply for an extra course.
It's just three elective courses... This will undoubtedly take up a lot of time. If they really go to Professor McGonagall to apply, they will not be able to do what they like.
But opening a joke shop of their own is also their dream. If the ancient magic is really helpful for alchemy, then they must not give up.
The two of them immediately fell into a dilemma.
"How about we go and discuss it with Professor McGonagall?"
After thinking for a moment, George asked tentatively: "Do you think she will agree that we change the Care of Magical Creatures class to Ancient Magic Runes?"
...
Sorry, I just came back from outside last night and forgot to post it on time.
Bang bang bang... Please forgive me!
