Traveling Through the Warhammer World, but I Didn’t Cry

Chapter 707 Let Me Go

"Put me down! Let me stay where I am!" the Eldar yelled angrily, but she didn't have much strength to resist Mal's movements, and could only glare at Mal with the eyes under the broken helmet.

"Oh, I have seen more cruel looks than this. You can't scare a warrior who fights for the Emperor!" Mal said disdainfully.

The Eldar were much lighter than expected, and Mal felt like he was hugging the little girl who just entered middle school who owned the coffee shop next door.

"Put me down! Let me die here!" The Eldar shouted angrily again, but before she could say anything more, she was interrupted by a cough.

Mal walked with the Eldar for a while. Sometimes he felt that he was carrying a light body, but the Eldar would always cough twice at the right time to tell Mal that she was still alive.

The Eldar breathed heavily, her broken helmet finally becoming a torture device.

She reached out her hand and took off her helmet with difficulty.

The ears are pointed and drooped downward. The facial features were exquisite and the skin was smooth and clean. This was the most beautiful face Mal had ever seen in his life.

"Why, why are you so stupid?" The Eldar stared at Mal closely with her blue eyes.

Mal stared blankly at the Eldar's face for a while, not because he had any evil thoughts, but because the alien in front of him looked too human.

If anything, the droopy ears would be very noticeable if the Eldar covered them under her smooth hair.

Mal felt that few people could tell that he was an alien. At most, they thought she was some beautiful noble lady from the upper echelons of the hive city.

"Because it's better to go alone than to go alone. If you really encounter something terrible, I will leave you where you are as bait." Mal replied.

"This is meaningless at all. Will living one more second make you feel satisfied?" The spirit tribe asked puzzledly.

"Live for one more second? Live for one more second and you can change the situation of the battle! If you hadn't stabbed the orc with a knife just now, my head would have been crushed! Now look at it, just because of this extra second , we successfully brought down a damn orc!" Mal felt that he had found a reasonable enough excuse. He nodded slightly as he spoke, as if he was scolding a naughty boy who broke flowers.

The Eldar sighed helplessly and mumbled some bad words about monkeys being stupid.

Mal told him quite seriously that he was a human, not a monkey.

"That makes no difference."

"There are differences, just like there are differences between orcs and you. Although they are both aliens, you don't look as vicious as I thought."

The Eldar frowned, and she had a new understanding of Mal's ignorance. "That's because you haven't met our fallen cousin yet." There was a warning in her tone.

Mal didn't say much and just continued walking forward.

After a while, the Eldar asked Mal in a gentler voice, "You said you were a flower shop owner?"

"Of course, I had a pretty sweet flower shop before those orcs ruined everything."

Mal spoke nostalgically, telling what kinds of flowers and plants he had tended and what kind of guests he had received.

The Eldar listened very seriously. She said that before she became a guardian, her main job was to take care of flowers and plants.

"Really? Then we're still together." Mal showed a friendly smile.

"I'm not a fellow traveler, that's just your wishful thinking." The Ada Spirit Tribe didn't appreciate it and made a face at him.

Mal always felt like he was dealing with a difficult little girl, rather than the rather abominable alien advertised in the manual.

The smoke in front of him became thicker and thicker, and the surrounding scenes reminded him of his past.

He ran out of the burning flower shop in panic. The streets were filled with victims killed by orcs. The little daughter of the coffee shop owner was grabbed by the arms and thighs and torn open alive by the orcs. Facing the horror in front of him, all Mal could do was run for his life.

The bad memories made Mal tighten his hand on the Eldar's waist. He heard a beautiful cry of pain and saw the Eldar staring at him with vigilant eyes.

The Eldar's injuries seemed to have recovered somewhat, at least they were not completely paralyzed on Mal's body.

She put a hand across Mal's back and on his shoulder, and Mal apologized for being reminded of some not-so-good memories.

The Ada Eldar was silent for a while and said slowly, "You are more emotional than I thought."

"Then what did you think we were before?" Mal asked.

"Ignorance, fanaticism, cruelty. How you see the greenskins is how we see you."

“It’s nice that we get to know each other a little better.”

"But you are still a stupid monkey, and you have made many mistakes in handling the water nymphs."

"Maybe." Mal sneered. He only felt that this Eldar's mouth was really tough.

Fortunately, they did not encounter more orcs, but unfortunately, the smell of the Eldar attracted insects wandering in the forest.

Ada Eldar's face turned pale for a while, and she struggled, trying to get off Mal's body.

Mal was dissatisfied with Ada Eldar's movements. Even if she was very light, such movements would waste more of his energy.

"Don't move!" Mal warned fiercely. He saw that the ears of the Eldar drooped even more.

"Put me down. You still have a chance to live a few more seconds." The Eldar's tone was calm. "The bugs are getting closer and closer to me. They will not give up the delicious food in front of them."

Bugs? Mal looked around. He saw nothing and heard nothing.

"Because your perception ability is very low-level, just as bad as your flower-growing skills." The Eldar said sarcastically.

"If you really knew that there were bugs coming, you should have told me." Mal put the Eldar on the ground. The latter frowned because of the pain in his body and made a soft hissing sound.

Seeing Mal standing in front of her, the Aida Eldar said anxiously, "You should go! Let me die here in peace!"

"Shut up!" Mal turned back and glared at the Aida Eldar, and put a laser pistol in her arms, "I used to watch a little girl being torn apart alive and then swallowed by orcs. This nightmare has tormented me all my life, and I will not make this nightmare worse."

The Aida Eldar was stunned. She looked at Mal's dirty back and subconsciously tightened the laser gun in her hand.
