Chapter 127 Determining the Future Mission
Seeing that several people were absent-minded, Camus coughed and attracted their attention.
"I have something else to do, so I'll go back first."
Susie raised her eyebrows when she heard it, "What's the hurry? I'm going to treat you to lunch."
Camus smiled, "You go by yourselves, I have something else to do, let's go together next time, I'll leave first."
Seeing that Camus was really leaving, Susie could only nod, "Okay, I'll go with Casca and the others."
Camus pulled his hat down when he heard it, stopped a carriage and rushed home. Susie's face showed a hint of suspicion as she watched him leave. Why does Camus look weird today?
"Let's go, Miss Fiona, do you want to come with us?"
Seeing Susie looking at her, Fiona shook her head, "I still have to deal with the corpse ghost incident, you go by yourselves."
"Okay, Casca Akali, follow me." Susie smiled and looked at the two of them when she heard it.
After walking for a long time, Susie expressed her opinion, "Do you think that Camus is hiding something from us?"
"Hidden? I don't feel it." Casca took out a bullet from his pocket and carefully felt the pattern on it.
"Could it be related to the nightmare? Isn't the captain always entangled in crying dreams?" Akali expressed her opinion.
Susie's rabbit ears moved, "Should we follow him and see? My intuition tells me that Camus is hiding something, and he doesn't seem to want us to know."
"Oh...you female creatures are so scary. You actually want to spy on the captain? I won't go." Casca refused immediately when he heard that he was going to spy.
"Two against one, objection is invalid, let's follow him and see." Susie grabbed Akali's hand and raised it high, then looked at Casca with a fierce look.
Casca twitched his mouth and followed Susie silently. Just watch it, he also felt that Camus was not in a good state.
Camus came home and immediately closed the curtains and locked himself in the room. As the mirror became blurry, Camus also saw Laura sitting on the sofa.
"Hmm... Camus? What's wrong with him?" Laura felt the magic fluctuations of the mirror, turned around and saw a row of words appear on the mirror. After a careful look, her face was a little pale, and her fluffy fox ears stood up.
"Are you serious? Who else knows besides the Aurora Club?"
"I don't know, I'll come right away."
"Ms. Nicole, I have to go on a long trip. If there are guests coming, please tell them that I will be back in about a week." Camus put on his clothes and sorted out his weapons. Looking at the pistol emitting a faint light, Camus' eyes flashed and he gave instructions to the room.
"Going on a long trip? Okay, Mr. Camus, I wish you good luck. I will communicate well with the guests." Nicole walked out of the wall with a book about astronomy in her hand.
"I'll leave the house to you. Apologize to them for me. I'm leaving first." After saying this, Camus pulled his hat down and walked out.
"Bang... What a strange gentleman, always mysterious." Seeing his back, Neeko muttered softly.
Seeing Camus go in and come out quickly in less than a few minutes, Susie and others were watching Camus get on the carriage through the window.
"I said there was a problem, my intuition is always accurate." Susie clenched her fists, looking excited.
"Maybe he really has something urgent? Susie, I think we should stop, peeping is really unfriendly." Casca expressed his opinion helplessly.
"I think Susie is right, what if the captain is in trouble? Let's follow him and see." Akali also became interested at this time, ready to go all the way with Susie.
"Then follow him, let's see where he goes." The group also stopped a carriage and followed Camus.
In less than half an hour, several people watched Camus walk into the Draf First Industrial Bank, and then was taken to the top floor by a gargoyle.
"Gargoyle, I said Camus is hiding something from us, look." Susie pointed to the top of her head, and then looked at Casca with ill intentions.
Casca felt cold all over, and looked at Susie with a wary face, "What are you going to do? Camus has already gone in, let's go back, anyway we can't go up."
"Can't go up? We can see if we can't go up, do you have your sniper rifle?"
"No... How could I bring that kind of thing, don't forget what day it is today, you'd better give up on this idea."
Hearing that Casca didn't bring a gun, Susie clenched her fist, "It doesn't matter if he didn't bring it, we'll block him downstairs,"
Here Camus has already gone upstairs, and Laura and Bai are walking back and forth at the door, and Camus also walked over quickly.
"Are you serious? That thing was discovered?" Laura spoke anxiously when she saw Camus.
Camus shook his head, "I don't know the details, but a small team of the Aurora Society went straight to Frankenstein."
"How many people?"
"Eight people, one third-level 'Sun Guardian', and seven first-level 'Prayers'."
Laura's expression relaxed when she heard it, "That should be because it has not been discovered, but we must find the monster before them. Hei is estimated to have just arrived in Qiuri City, so we will rush over now."
Hearing Laura's method, Camus frowned, "What should we do with the third-level Sun Guardian? We can't defeat him with our strength."
Laura sneered, "It's only the third level. The Masonic Frankenstein is no worse than him. Don't worry?"
When Camus heard that Laura had a countermeasure, he stopped talking. After looking around, he found that Gandalf was not here. There were only Bai and Laura here.
"Where is Gandalf? And what happened last time? The goblin Harry was killed by Fiona."
"Don't worry. Once Harry mutates, his soul will become a state of 'confusion'. No one will know that you are resurrected. As for Gandalf, he just drank the potion the day before yesterday and is now being promoted." Laura said lightly.
Camus' eyes flashed, "How long will it take to advance?"
Laura shook her head, "He said it would take three days. Let's not bother him now. The three of us will go directly to Autumn City."
"Take the Gargoyle? Or the airship?"
Bai looked at the airship passing by the window, and a murderous look appeared on the face of the calm cat, "The Gargoyle will be tracked down. We will take the airship or the train. The train will take about a week, and the airship will take about two days."
Camus raised his head and took off his glasses when he heard it, "Then let's go. If we really want to keep it secret, the people of the Aurora Club don't have to live anymore."
Laura snapped her fingers at the void, and the Dream Fox jumped out of the void. She looked at Laura and screamed "Ah Ya" twice, and lay quietly on the sofa and looked at the few people.
"Send a message for me, tell 'Black' that he must find him as soon as possible, we will arrive the day after tomorrow, and we must get this stone slab at any cost." The Dream Fox jumped directly into the nightmare world when he heard it, and the hall suddenly became quiet.
Laura looked into the depths of the room and said calmly, "I'm going to get something. You guys get ready. I'll leave right after I come out."
As his figure disappeared into the passage, Camus' fingers gently rubbed the cold gun handle.
"This is a mission that determines fate. Don't you think so, 'Bai'?"
Bai tilted his head and looked at Camus. Camus' figure was imprinted in his snowflake pupils. "Laura's choice is right."
