Chapter 1223: Vow and Will

The 40-character mantra: May this merit beautify the Buddha's Pure Land; repay the fourfold grace, and relieve the sufferings of the three paths; may all sentient beings who are drowning develop bodhicitta; after this life of retribution, be reborn in the Pure Land together.

Wu Yi could still understand the first four sentences of the mantra, but the last two sentences, "All sentient beings who are drowning develop bodhicitta", literally mean to be one with all beings and give kindness to everyone without distinction.

Before, Wu Yi had thought that since he could not understand the truth, he had no fate with this method, so there was no need to force it.

Now, after listening to the words of the Chaos Beast, Wu Yi suddenly realized that if he wanted to understand this method, he might not necessarily need to follow the established path.

The Buddhist teachings are not completely persuaded by words to enter, and there are many cases of force coercion. Force coercion, can it still be said that all sentient beings, Bodhicitta?

If you have a bodhisattva heart, then you act with thunderbolt means, even if your hands are bloody, you are still a good person. Killing is not necessarily evil.

Because many times, you need to make choices. Saying that you want to save everyone in the world, but in the end you can't save anyone, this is hypocrisy.

In Buddhism, there is also the saying of subduing demons and exorcising demons. Killing a demon is killing for killing, which is contrary to the doctrine, but it is for the purpose of saving most people. In this way, killing a demon is not only not evil, but good.

In other words, as long as the original intention is to save all living beings, even if you behave like a demon, it is okay. What Wu Yi didn't know was that he was heading towards the path of Hinayana Buddhism. If he wanted to save the world, he would first save himself.

The mind is clear and the heart is pure. The demon body conveys this understanding to the human body, and then the human body is seen to emit a bright light, like a silent spring surrounding it.

This light is called the Great Wisdom Light in Buddhism. It may not be this color, but the feeling it gives people is the same, that is, the feeling of great enlightenment.

"Interesting, I can still have an epiphany at this time." The Taotie on the side is not afraid of trouble and looks like watching a show.

After the knot in his heart was freed, the human body chanted the mantra "All sentient beings who are drowned, all have bodhicitta", and a sense of saving all living beings dissipated. A hazy round wheel lingered behind Wu Yi's head, just like the reincarnation of the Buddha.

With a compassionate heart, as if he was favored by the gods and Buddhas, his spirit and energy were unprecedentedly condensed, and his magic power increased by more than several times. In the past, many magical skills could not be used, but now they are like flowing clouds and water, without any obstruction.

In Buddhism, you will become as powerful as your wish. Therefore, many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have made great vows to prove their merits, such as the classic vow of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, "In the future, I will save all the sinful beings in the six realms!"

Wu Yi is just a beginner, and his vow is nothing compared to that of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. But no matter what, he needs to make his own vow.

"Whenever I attain the Tao, I will save all the creatures in the world and make them suffer from the heavenly calamity!" The human body said in his heart. As soon as the vow came out, the precious light around his body rotated, and the golden Buddha light formed a round wheel behind his head, gathering the wishes from all directions and giving Wu Yi powerful power.

Did Wu Yi succeed in breaking through? Obviously not. If Qiongqi was chosen as the human calamity, it would not be considered a success if he could not get Qiongqi's approval.
