Just a Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor

Chapter 168 Chaos

"There is a small town called Enfield under London, where lives a friend from my school days. Because of some accidents later, we broke up, but she should still trust me."

Eddie explained to Sherlock quickly.

"Her name is Sophie Feldman, and her current address should be in a red-roofed house on the easternmost side of Enfield Town. Just tell her the truth, and she should be able to keep her mind and believe what you say without meeting me."

"Then let her take you to the Ministry of Magic. She is an employee of the Department of Magical Transportation and has the authority to enter and exit the Ministry at any time."

"Mrs. Selwyn has been staying in the Department of Mysteries on the ninth floor underground. The Unspoken people working there will not leave there unless there are special circumstances."

Sherlock learned everything from him and then asked.

"What about you? What are you going to do next?"

Eddie looked at the fierce battle outside the street.

"I must leave here immediately. The Death Eaters have two layers of tracking magic on me. I had already cracked the superficial one when I was in Cambridge. They thought I didn't know that I had another tracking magic on me, so I was able to plot against them today."

"That magic is very troublesome. I can only cover it up temporarily, and there is no way to cancel it directly. The Death Eaters will definitely find my location again. Their fighting in the city will inevitably cause the deaths of many innocent Muggles. I must leave the city immediately and attract them away!"

He spoke firmly, and didn't care about the consequences if he was caught by the Death Eaters.

Sherlock didn't hesitate any more. He controlled the wands scattered around the room and returned them to his pocket. Now time is urgent. He can bring the news to the Ministry of Magic as soon as possible to find the traitor, and Eddie can get out of danger and go back as soon as possible.

"After the traitor is caught, how can I notify you?"

"Connect to the fireplace of the Ministry of Magic on the Isle of Man. I should be there at this time tomorrow!"

Eddie and Sherlock looked at each other for the last time. Without saying anything more, they raised their wands and used Apparition.

When the two of them left, the battle on the street had entered a white-hot stage!

Aurors and Death Eaters rode on flying brooms and waved their wands over the city. Countless green and red spells streaked across the night sky like meteors, and the sound of Apparition continued to sound around.

These were reinforcements from surrounding cities, including Aurors and Death Eaters!

"Do you want to ask the Ministry for more manpower!"

Another Auror commander Tris, who came from York and had joined the battle, barely dodged a pale green spell!

He waved his wand back and yelled at Moody.

Moody was controlling the flying broom to lower his body, and his wand was aimed at a Death Eater who was diving low and bombing the Muggle house with an explosive spell. The next second, a precise red beam shot out from the tip of his wand and directly hit the Death Eater who was moving at high speed!

The Death Eater fell from the broom helplessly, and if he didn't die, he would be disabled for life.

"No more reinforcements!" The strong wind poured into his mouth, and Moody shouted, "There are only two teams of Kingsley and his team left in the Ministry! If you send more, the entire Ministry of Magic will be empty!"

"But if this goes on, everyone in the Muggle city will know what happened!" Tris said anxiously.

Moody's face was struggling. He looked at the Death Eaters who were wandering in the sky and basically didn't entangle with the Aurors, but only bombed the Muggle city below with spells, and shouted at Tris.

"You take your people to the west and north, I will control the east and south! Push them to the middle! Also, don't use anti-apparition magic!"

......

After apparition, Sherlock appeared on the street where the Leaky Cauldron in London was located.

But he didn't want to go back to the bar to take a look. He immediately used the unlocking spell to open the door of a car on the roadside, and then used control magic to control it to start the engine and drove it to Enfield Town below London.

He had never been to this town, so he couldn't Apparition directly. The Knight Bus might not take him there directly, because the next stop was arranged according to the order of the passengers on the bus, not the distance.

At this time, Muggle cars became the best means of transportation.

Sherlock kept stepping on the accelerator all the way. Fortunately, Enfield was not far from London. About 20 minutes later, he had entered the town and soon found a red-roofed house at the easternmost part of the town.

After getting out of the car, he tapped the hood of the car with his magic wand, and the car started automatically and returned along the original route.

It automatically avoided vehicles and pedestrians on the road and returned to the place where Sherlock used it at the beginning. Except for the reduction of oil in the tank, the owner of the car would not find any other problems.

Sherlock knocked heavily on the door of the red-roofed house.

Soon, a light came on in the bedroom on the second floor. A young and beautiful woman in pajamas opened the window and looked at Sherlock from upstairs with a bad face.

"It's so late, you are not a door-to-door salesman, right?"

Sherlock stared at her and said seriously.

"Eddie Butler asked me to come to you."

The woman was obviously stunned. After more than ten seconds, she stamped her feet in frustration, as if she was angry again.

"Just use the unlocking spell to open the door and come in! I'll go down now!"

Hearing this, Sherlock no longer cared about politeness. He used the unlocking spell to open the door and walked into the home of the witch named Sophie.

When he entered the door, Sophie just walked down the stairs with a magic wand in her hand.

"You'd better say he was wronged! He came to me to ask me to help him clear his name! If you are here to persuade me to join the Dark Lord on his behalf, then you can wait for the Wizengamot trial!"

Sherlock and Sophie looked at each other, the witch's wand was pointed directly at him, and her eyes were nervous, as if she was afraid that he would say that Eddie had really become a lackey of the Dark Lord.

"You guessed right." Sherlock shrugged, "Eddie was wronged, he did not betray the Ministry of Magic, nor did he join the Death Eaters."

Sophie's eyes seemed to be ablaze with hope, but she still did not put down the wand in her hand, just tried to slow down her emotions, and said in a hurried tone.

"Then what happened to him! Why didn't you come to me yourself!"

Sherlock tried to use the most concise words to tell Sophie everything Eddie told him in a short time.

Three minutes later, the witch's wand dropped.
