Chapter 210 Sherlock's Sister
Harry was at the Weasleys' house listening to Percy showing off the big shots he had met after joining the Ministry of Magic.
"......If you haven't seen it with your own eyes, you can't understand Mr. Crouch's demeanor at all. Before becoming the Director of International Magical Cooperation, he was the Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. That is the most important position in the Ministry of Magic. If there hadn't been some accidents in Mr. Crouch's family, he would be the one sitting in the position of Minister of Magic now. Of course, I'm not saying that Minister Fudge is not doing a good job. He is still very good and is one of the few good ministers in the Ministry of Magic."
Percy was praising his immediate boss Barty Crouch eloquently, and at the same time, he didn't forget to flatter the current Minister of Magic Fudge.
George frowned and said.
"Okay, stop flattering Percy. Now we are at home. The two respected directors and ministers can't hear what you say."
Fred also agreed with a smile.
"Or if you really want to brag about someone, you can try to flatter dad. He is also the office director of a department."
"Oh, how can that be, Fred? A small office director, even if he is our father, is not worthy of the praise of the great Percy."
"Ah, yes, if he really flatters dad like this, dad will probably be flattered and can't sleep for three days. After all, he is the new employee of the Ministry of Magic, Lord Percy!"
Facing the sarcasm of the twins, Percy never had any room to retort. He just blushed, snorted coldly and turned to leave the living room.
He graduated from Hogwarts this year with extremely excellent wizard level test results, especially in Defense Against the Dark Arts, where he received an O evaluation.
Although people who get O are rare, they are not rare, especially this year, the pass rate of students who choose Defense Against the Dark Arts exceeds 80%, which shocked the officials in charge of wizard level tests in the Ministry of Magic.
But Percy got O only because the best score is only O. He got the best score, but it doesn't mean that the best score is his true level.
The examiner who conducted the practical test on him knew this very well. He repeatedly emphasized to the office director of the Auror Command that if Percy planned to work in the Ministry of Magic, he must be brought to the Auror Command.
However, Percy did enter the Ministry of Magic, but he had no interest in the Auror Command, which worked like a dog all day long and was treated very mediocrely in the end. Instead, he joined the Department of International Magical Cooperation, which was more likely to achieve political achievements in peacetime.
The Auror Command was naturally very sorry about this, and Percy, who was fought over by several departments during the interview at the Ministry of Magic, was of course even more arrogant now.
He couldn't help bragging when he got home, and the Weasley twins naturally didn't spoil him.
Harry couldn't say that he hated Percy's character, but he didn't like him very much.
After seeing him leave in frustration, he and Ron laughed together.
There were two girls sitting on another sofa, Hermione and Ginny.
Hermione also came to the Burrow at the end of this summer vacation. Mr. Weasley got several tickets to the Quidditch World Cup finals in the Ministry of Magic and specially invited her and Harry to watch the game together.
"But Percy did get a lot of certificates in the Ultimate Wizarding Level Exam." Hermione's eyes revealed a yearning look when she spoke.
Ron curled his lips.
"Don't worry, Professor Forrest will not leave Hogwarts. When you are in the fifth grade, you will also be waving a dozen certificates to show off to us like him."
George and Fred were obviously afraid of their topic and kept looking towards the kitchen, but Hermione and Ron's conversation still attracted Mrs. Weasley.
"Do you think people with more than a dozen certificates are not worth showing off, Ron?" Mrs. Weasley was talking about Ron again, but her eyes were actually waiting for the twins fiercely, "Like your two brothers, what else can they show off except the certificate of Defense Against the Dark Arts! For this, you have to thank Sherlock for not giving up on you two troublemakers who are always thinking about tinkering with those embarrassing little things!"
George and Fred listened to their mother's lecture honestly, but in fact they looked at each other and stuck out their tongues to make faces at each other.
Mrs. Weasley was so angry not only because of their unsatisfactory results in the intermediate wizard level exam, but also because she found a long list of orders for magic joke props in their bedroom a few days ago. She thought that they were all focusing on studying these things, so how could they have time to think about studying.
Mrs. Weasley's anger came and went quickly. Without saying a word, she returned to the kitchen and focused on tonight's dinner.
The twins didn't dare to stay in the living room for too long, for fear that their mother would remember this and come out to nag them again. They slipped back to their bedroom and tinkered with something.
Ginny also went to the kitchen to help her mother, and only Harry and the other three were left in the living room.
"I wonder if Professor Forrest will also go to watch the Quidditch game." Hermione asked absentmindedly.
After two consecutive years of wizard level exams, Hogwarts students have achieved extraordinary good results in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Now she wishes Sherlock could be a professor of all subjects and teach her all the exam skills of each subject.
Ron said affirmatively.
"Yes! I heard from my father before that he was going to send a ticket to Professor Forrest, but a friend of his in the Ministry of Magic had already sent one, so he didn't bother."
Speaking of Sherlock, Harry's eyes suddenly lit up.
He remembered something that he had forgotten to tell Ron and Hermione since he met them.
"I visited Professor Forrest's house a week ago, and I met a...sister in the professor's house."
He struggled for a long time about the name, and finally chose this name.
Hermione didn't care about it.
"Maybe someone went to the professor's house as a guest and happened to be met by you? Don't spread rumors."
Harry shook his head and said.
"No! Absolutely not! When I found the professor in the morning, he was having breakfast with the sister named Silk. Obviously, she stayed at the professor's house for a night!"
Ron and Hermione looked at each other, and when they heard Harry say this, their gossiping hearts were immediately seduced.
Harry stuck his head out and deliberately lowered his voice and continued.
"And you have seen this Sister Silk before!"
