Chapter 25: Spots
Until the song ended, the sleeping Fish was called by the little witch beside him.
"Fish, we should go back to the dormitory."
Alia Spinnet called softly, afraid to scare Fish.
"Have you ever seen such a gentle Alia?"
Oliver Wood, who was not far away, poked Lee Jordan beside him with his elbow.
"Never!"
Lee Jordan answered decisively, followed by another sigh from the boys.
"Meow?" (‘-ω)
Fish raised his head from his front paws and looked at the girl in front of him in confusion.
"If you want to sleep, go back to the dormitory. It's easy to catch a cold here."
Spinnet continued to say softly.
"It's over? Can we go home meow?"
Fish, who had no idea what the dormitory meant, jumped off the table, turned into a human form and planned to run to the small house where he was waiting before.
Then he was stopped by Percy, who was laughing and crying.
"Hogwarts is a boarding school. We should go back to the dormitory to rest now."
"Meow? What does boarding mean? And what is a dormitory?"
Fish blinked and asked in confusion.
After Percy and the witches around him explained, Fish finally understood the specific situation.
"So you have to live here when you go to school? Why haven't I heard of it? Minerva! You lied to me again!"
Fish looked at the professor's long table angrily, but found that Professor McGonagall had disappeared long ago.
"Meow! Minerva, the big liar!" (ΦДΦ)
It was no big deal for Fish to sleep in a different place. Unlike ordinary cats, he would not be too nostalgic for his "territory" and would not be nervous about unfamiliar places. His anger was entirely due to the fact that Professor McGonagall was deceiving him again.
Professor McGonagall was very prestigious in Gryffindor and even in the entire Hogwarts, not to mention that she had just demonstrated a dazzling transformation to everyone.
So the Gryffindor students looked at each other and tacitly decided to ignore Fish's complaints.
"The Gryffindor dormitory is pretty good. I think you will like it. Besides, there will be other people living with you there. It will be much more lively than living alone."
As a prefect, Percy felt that he still needed to stand up and maintain the dignity of his own dean. He comforted Fish with a pleasant face.
"Others? Are we going to fight to decide who owns the territory?" (●ω●)
Fish was refreshed and grabbed twice with both hands, seeming to be very interested in this matter.
"No, no, no!" Percy waved his hands repeatedly, "The school has arranged your respective beds. There is no need to decide the winner. And if you are not satisfied with your bed, I think your roommates will be happy to exchange with you."
After seeing the previous confrontation between Professor McGonagall and Fish, Percy himself was not sure to defeat the little guy in front of him, let alone other freshmen.
Wiping the sweat off his forehead, Percy didn't intend to continue on this issue, and said repeatedly: "Anyway, you will know if you follow me."
The freshmen surrounded Fish and Harry, followed Percy around the castle of Hogwarts, passed through several hidden doors, and climbed several stairs that would change their positions.
Fortunately, there were a group of little witches chatting with Fish along the way, and he saw a lot of new things, so he didn't feel bored.
After Percy drove Peeves away, a group of people finally arrived in front of the Gryffindor dormitory.
This is a corridor with no doors on it. There is a portrait of the Fat Lady hanging at the end.
"Password?" The Fat Lady in the portrait asked.
"Dragon scum."
After Percy finished speaking, the portrait automatically moved aside, revealing the round hole behind it.
Led by Percy, the freshmen climbed in through the hole in the wall and came to the Gryffindor common room.
"The entrance to the girls' dormitory is over there."
Percy pointed to a door not far away. The little witches said goodnight to Phish one by one, and then left reluctantly. Phish and others, led by Percy, walked into another door and climbed a spiral staircase before they reached their bunks.
Harry and his friends finally had time to communicate with Phish, but although they had the intention, they actually just said hello and introduced themselves. Then everyone started to change into pajamas and prepare for bed - they were too tired today.
As a nocturnal creature, Phish was just the opposite of them. This time was when he was most energetic.
He came quietly behind Ron Weasley, staring at Ron with a pair of green eyes...(●ω●)
There's something good on this red-haired guy!
Phi smelled the scent of prey from Ron. Although he was full, he didn't mind a post-meal exercise.
"Ouch!"
Ron turned his head inadvertently and saw a pair of green eyes staring at him in the dim dormitory, which almost scared him to death.
Frightened, Ron subconsciously took a step back, but was tripped by his robes and fell to the ground.
Harry and others were attracted by the noise he made.
"Don't look at me like that, it's too scary."
Ron, who hadn't figured out the situation yet, rubbed his butt and climbed up from the ground, mumbling.
"You smell like a rat!"
Fish not only didn't listen, but moved closer, staring at the slightly trembling pocket on Ron's chest.
"Scabby is my pet! You can't eat it!"
Ron was stunned for a moment, then he covered his chest pocket in panic, turned sideways to block Fish's creepy sight. Although Scabbers was just a pet that his brother didn't want, Ron still had a lot of feelings for it.
It was just obvious that the willful Fish was not something that a little wizard like Ron could control. His little hand stabbed out like a venomous snake and grabbed Ron's chest pocket.
"Squeak!"
"Oh! My God!"
Scabbers, sensing danger, quickly escaped from Ron's pocket, fell to the ground and went into the corner.
"Meow! Where are you running!"
Fish changed back to the form of a cat and chased after it without hesitation.
The cat and the mouse chased each other in the dormitory, making a mess of everyone's luggage and curtains.
"Squeak, squeak, squeak!"
In the end, Banban still couldn't escape Feishi's pursuit. He was slapped under his claws and struggled frantically.
This fat mouse was quite strong, but it didn't exceed the strength of a normal mouse. In addition, Feishi himself was not an ordinary cat, so he was still able to hold it firmly.
"Please Feishi! Let Banban go!"
When Ron saw Banban being caught by Feishi, he begged loudly.
"Meow?"
Feish tilted his head and glanced at Ron, then released his claws.
Banban, who regained his freedom, ran towards Ron in a hurry, but after running out for only two steps, he felt a pain in his tail and was pulled back by Feishi again.
After pulling Banban back, Feishi let it go again, waited for it to run a few steps, and then held it again.
After repeating this several times, Banban seemed to know that he couldn't escape, or that his strength was exhausted, so he simply lay on the ground and stopped moving, allowing Feishi to fiddle with him with his claws.
After seeing that the mouse no longer cooperated with him in playing, Fish gradually lost interest in it. He was not hungry in the first place, and Fish could actually understand the relationship between Scabbers and Ron.
When he was wandering outside, he saw many of his kind having similar relationships with humans. In addition, there were dogs and owls. Although it was rare for humans to raise mice, it was not uncommon.
Fish pretended not to know before, and that was the reason why he chased the mouse with peace of mind.
Now that he had enough fun, Fish would naturally not really eat Scabbers.
"Boring meow~"
Fish, who turned back into human form, threw Scabbers back to Ron, and then muttered to himself.
"Those owls are more fun."
As soon as this was said, Harry and others who were watching the show suddenly became nervous.

In the original book, the five freshmen of Gryffindor lived in the same dormitory, so I guess that all students of the same grade should live together, at least that's the case in Gryffindor.
As for whether there are other first-year boys besides the five boys in the book, I think it is unlikely.
In the original book, the Gryffindor freshmen with names are 5 boys and 3 girls, and there have been no other new faces in Harry's class, so it is basically certain that there are only these 8 Gryffindors in Harry's class.
Moreover, only 20 brooms were prepared for the flying class, and 20 pairs of earplugs were prepared for the herbology class, which means that the number of people in the Lion House + Snake House is at most 20, and the number of people in the Lion House + Badger House will not exceed 30.
And the Badger House has always been the largest, so there are basically about 10 students in each year of each college.
Although Rowling once said on HP's official website that Hogwarts has about 1,000 students... but with the few teachers in Hogwarts, how can 1,000 students be taught? It is more reasonable to have a total of around 300.
As for Rowling's statement... those who understand the math of the British people understand it.

I was busy for most of the day, and when I returned to the hotel at night, the door wouldn't open...
I ran to the front desk, and the front desk called a technician over. The technician took several cards and tried several times, and finally concluded that the battery in the door was exhausted...
