Chapter 531 Beetle and Rita Skeeter
Fighting the freeze and rolling in the snow?
Listening to Kyle's description, Harry always felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity, but he couldn't remember who it was for a while.
Just when he wanted to ask, there was a knock on the door again.
This time it was still not Dumbledore.
"Hagrid, how are you? Your affairs are being discussed in the castle now... Oh, I noticed you boiled water. Can you give me a cup of hot tea?"
Seeing the person coming, Harry shouted happily: "Professor Black, why are you here."
"I've told you many times that you don't need to call me that outside the castle, Harry."
Sirius walked into the room, "Of course it was because I read the newspaper. I originally wanted to ask Professor Dumbledore first, but he didn't know where he went and I couldn't find him."
Hagrid's room was not big to begin with, but now that five more people were squeezed into it, it seemed even smaller.
Harry and Ron squeezed to the left to make a small space for Sirius.
But ten minutes later... Connor also appeared at the door of the cabin, along with Cedric, Cho, and the Weasley brothers.
This time, the hut was completely packed, and they could only stand outside.
Kangna immediately saw Kyle in the room and waved her hand quickly, "No wonder we couldn't find you. It turns out you were already here in advance."
"No, I just arrived too." Kyle explained: "Professor Black and I went to Diagon Alley before, and you guys weren't even up at that time."
"Diagon Alley?"
"Well, I went to Gringotts to pick up something. We made an appointment during the holidays. I just have time today."
Kangna nodded and didn't ask any more questions. After all, her main purpose of coming this time was to visit Hagrid.
Seeing this large group of people gathered at the door of his hut, Hagrid began to choke again, but this time it was not because of sadness.
Hagrid originally thought that everyone would avoid him after knowing his identity, but he didn't expect that so many people would come to visit him.
"Thank you, thank you for coming to me..." Two round tears flowed from Hagrid's eyes and slowly seeped into his beard.
"Hagrid, what are you talking about?" Fred said with a smile, "Our Care of Magical Creatures professor is a hybrid giant. Is there anything cooler than this?"
"A pure-blood giant?" George raised his eyebrows.
"There's no way I can't disagree."
The two high-fived each other in unison.
"Look, Hagrid, no one here cares what your identity is," Kyle said.
"But Dumbledore..."
"I believe the principal will not fire you." Kyle patted his arm.
A few people didn't stay here long.
Mainly because it was too cold outside, and so many people couldn't all go inside, so it didn't take long before Hagrid said he wanted to be alone and drove them all back to the castle.
Harry and the others didn't want to leave at first, but Hagrid was very determined and pushed them out of the house without any explanation.
But as he was leaving, Kyle suddenly saw a beetle crawling out from the open door.
"Yeah, let's go back."
After walking out of the hut, Kyle walked next to Kangna and said intentionally or unintentionally: "Fortunately, the newspaper only talked about the hybrid giant and didn't find out about it, otherwise things would only become more troublesome."
"Which thing?" Kangna asked doubtfully.
"Have you forgotten?" Kyle looked around, "It's not safe here. Let's go back to the castle."
Although Kangna felt a little confused, she still followed Kyle towards the castle.
It wasn't until the two of them came to the foyer that she tentatively said, "You're probably talking about Lu Wei, but how long has it been? It shouldn't be possible to be discovered."
"Yes, you are right, no one can find Lu Wei."
Kyle said, he took out a round-mouth bottle made of multi-flavor beans and slammed it on his shoulder.
"Dong dong dong..."
There was a clanking sound from the bottle.
"Is this... a beetle?"
"It's a beetle, but not just any beetle."
Kyle corked the bottle and shook it in his hand. There was another crashing sound in the bottle.
"Am I right? Ms. Rita Skeeter."
"Rita..." Connor was startled, "You mean, this beetle is the Rita Skeeter?"
"I'm just doubting it now, but I just need to test it. It's a simple test... follow me."
Kyle walked into an empty classroom with no one around, put the bottle aside, then opened his deformed lizard skin bag and took out a portable camera and a little guy that looked like a plant bud.
Connor stood nearby and watched curiously as Kyle opened the bottle, took out the beetle inside and handed it to the Bowtruckle.
The Bowtruckle thought he could get an extra meal, and was very happy. Although he liked the beetle more, he would not refuse an extra snack and would put the beetle into his mouth when he opened his mouth.
However, the next second, the beetle suddenly began to twist, and its entire body became larger and larger.
This scene was all too familiar to Connor, the process of transforming from an Animagus back into a wizard.
Soon, a woman with curly hair and horn glasses appeared in the empty classroom.
The Bowtruckle was frightened. It looked at its own hands, then at the sudden appearance of the new person, howled and then burrowed into Kyle's pocket.
at the same time……
"Crack!"
Kyle also pressed the shutter of the camera.
"It's amazing. The famous Ms. Rita Skeeter is actually an illegal Animagus." Kyle raised his head and said with a smile: "It seems that the front page of the Daily Prophet tomorrow can be determined in advance."
"Damn it, give it to me!" Rita Skeeter rushed over like crazy and tried to grab the camera in Kyle's hand.
But the next second, she flew back at a faster speed and knocked over several tables.
"It's wrong to steal things, Ms. Skeeter." Kyle shook the wand in his hand.
Before Rita Skeeter could stand up, the tables and chairs around her had turned into ropes, tying her tightly from her feet to her neck, looking like a pupa.
And her wand was kicked to the side by a table leg.
"Another illegal Animagus." Connor said with disgust, "No wonder you know so many wizard secrets, after all, no one will guard against a beetle."
"It's okay, she always has to pay for the mistakes she made." Kyle said with a smile, "Illegal Animagus, this alone is enough to send her to be with Dementors."
"Give it to me!" Rita Skeeter yelled again.
She never thought that the method that had always worked would fall into the hands of a student.
It can be imagined that when the photo recording the whole process of her Animagus was made public, she was completely finished.
Those people... officials of the Ministry of Magic, if they knew that her Animagus was a beetle and that they had used it to inquire about the news everywhere, then she would be completely finished, and she might even be killed silently.
So no matter what, she had to take the camera away, but she knew in her heart that she couldn't beat Kyle, and using force would definitely not work.
"I know a lot of secrets, of Fudge and Dolores Umbridge, and Ludo Bagman." Rita Skeeter said hoarsely, "I can use these in exchange, as long as you give me the camera."
"Why should I know this? Do you think I have too much free time and want to cause trouble for myself?" Kyle spread his hands and said, "So I still give it to you..."
"Then you tell me!" Rita Skeeter began to get anxious, "What can I do to get you to give it to me? I can write reports, many reports praising you!"
"I think you must have misunderstood. I don't mean that, and I don't need you to speak well of me in the newspaper." Kyle frowned slightly, "And our Hogwarts students never threaten others to do things for themselves. This is against school rules."
Kanna pursed her lips and turned her head to the side.
To be honest, there is really no such rule in the school rules. This is already in the scope of wizard law.
"But..." Kyle continued, "I'm in a good mood now, so I decided to wait until the next issue of the Daily Prophet comes out before considering whether to post the photo. "If I'm in a good mood by then, I might not post it... This is all possible." "Then I..." Rita Skeeter wanted to say something else, but was interrupted by Kyle. "It has nothing to do with you, it just depends on how I feel, so I wish you good luck..." Kyle waved his wand, untied the rope on Rita Skeeter, and then directly pulled Connor out of the empty classroom.
