Chapter 630: The Informer
This gathering at the Hog's Head lasted longer than Kyle had expected.
About two hours later, people began to come out one after another.
The first ones were Fred, George and their friend Lee Jordan. They left the Hog's Head and hurried to Zonko's Joke Shop as if they were in a hurry.
Then came Colin and Angelita from Gryffindor, Ryan, Mikel and Justin from Hufflepuff, and three Ravenclaw boys whose names Kyle couldn't remember...
The people around were stunned. They probably never dreamed that there would be so many guests in the least popular Hog's Head.
Only after everyone left did Cedric and his friends who stayed at the end walk out of the Hog's Head together.
Through the window of the Three Broomsticks, Kyle could clearly see Cedric standing on the main road, looking around angrily, as if he was looking for someone.
"He's not looking for you," Connor whispered, "Did you tell him before that you wouldn't go to the Hog's Head today?"
"Well... I forgot," Kyle said.
In fact, it was when he met the Greengrass sisters in the Fengya brand wizard clothing store that he realized that he should support Fudge now and should not participate too much in things that go against the Ministry of Magic.
"Are you going to wait for him here?" Connor asked.
Kyle thought about it and shook his head and said, "Forget it, he must be very angry now, let's talk about it when we get back to the castle."
Then he immediately got up, and while Cedric hadn't noticed this place, he and Connor walked through the round tables to the other side of the bar, pushed open the door and slipped out three brooms.
The two went to the clothing store again, took the thick robes they had made, and left Hogsmeade.
It was not until the evening that Cedric returned to the castle. His hair was messy and he looked a little more anxious than usual.
Kyle also found an opportunity to explain to him why he didn't go to the Hog's Head Bar today.
Although Cedric believed Kyle's words, he still looked a little unhappy.
"Do you know how many people went there that day? "Fifty-three, those original guests thought this was Dumbledore's way of dealing with the Hog's Head, and they all ran away!"
"Isn't that just right?" Kyle said, "You don't have to worry about anyone eavesdropping."
"But the problem is that I can't teach so many people."
Cedric said, "Fifty-three people, it's almost the same as the number of people in the usual class, but I'm not a real professor, what if I mess up."
At this point, he couldn't help but raise his voice a little, looking at Kyle with some complaints, "I wanted you to help share some of the burden, but you didn't come that day."
"You can find someone else." Kyle said.
"That's all I can do. Cedric thought for a moment, "What do you think of Hermione? I remember she has always been the top student in the grade, and she is also the prefect."
"If you want to improve your test scores, Hermione is indeed a good candidate." Kyle said, "But the purpose of your self-taught Defense Against the Dark Arts is to improve your self-protection ability, so Hermione is a bit inappropriate.
"To be honest, her Defense Against the Dark Arts is only high in the test scores, but her use of spells is not particularly outstanding.
"I think you can consider Harry Potter."
"Potter?" Cedric was a little surprised.
He and Harry were not particularly familiar with each other. Apart from knowing that the other party was very talented in Quidditch, he didn't know much about other things.
"That's right." Kyle continued, "Sirius, including Moody, said that he was very talented in Defense Against the Dark Arts, and he was very skilled in both the Disarming Charm and the Shield Charm."
"If that's the case, then it's indeed possible." Cedric pondered for a moment.
The Shield Charm and the Disarming Charm have a wide range of applications and are most effective when facing enemies.
Therefore, if they want to learn Defense Against the Dark Arts by themselves, these two spells must be learned.
"Then I'll go find him tomorrow." Cedric was still a little anxious, "Fifty-three people, I hope I won't mess it up..."
...
For the rest of the weekend, the castle was always filled with an atmosphere of expectation, just like when Sirius first came to Hogwarts, everyone couldn't wait to see his class.
The next morning, Cedric left the Hufflepuff common room early in the morning and went to the hall to wait for Harry.
Kyle wanted to go and see, but before he walked to the hall, a person suddenly appeared and blocked him.
Kyle had an impression of this person, Dennis Creevey from Gryffindor, a member of the Harry Potter Fan Club.
"Kyle..." He seemed to have run all the way here, panting, "Umbridge asked you to go to her office."
"When?"
"Now."
"Okay, I know." Kyle nodded.
After Dennis Creevey left, Kyle looked at the nearby hall, sighed and said, "If I had known, I would have come earlier, so that I might have had breakfast."
"Why did Umbridge come to you at this time?" Connor was a little worried, "Do you need me to tell Professor Sprout?"
"No." Kyle said, "I guess she probably knows what happened in Hogsmeade yesterday."
"Did Umbridge know so quickly?" Connor immediately thought of something, "Someone must have informed on her!"
"Last night, Letty told me that Zacharias Smith had been questioning Harry's news of the resurrection of the mysterious man, and said that Cedric was too stupid to be deceived by him."
"Zacharys? "Kyle naturally knew this person. He was a sixth-year Hufflepuff student like him, and he also competed for the position of chaser in the second year.
However, Kyle's performance was too perfect at that time, and no one else had any chance, so that all the people competing for the chaser were eliminated in the selection stage.
To be honest, this person's personality is really not very good. He is arrogant and arrogant, and he always likes to attract the attention of people around him by refuting others.
Many people think that Zacharias should not be assigned to Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw and Slytherin are more suitable for him.
So he raised doubts, and Kyle didn't find it strange at all. In fact, before this, he had repeatedly expressed that he wanted Harry and Dumbledore to produce evidence of Voldemort's resurrection.
"And Terry Boot from Ravenclaw."
Connor said another name, "Letty said he was laughing all the time, as if he regarded the party as a funny stage play.
"The informer is most likely one of them."
"That's not surprising. After all, none of us can guarantee that we won't make mistakes or attract someone with ulterior motives."
Kyle said, "In addition, more than 50 people going to a bar where no students usually go at the same time will inevitably attract the attention of others."
"She won't make things difficult for you, will she?" Kanna was still a little worried.
"Don't worry, I have a way to deal with it." Kyle said, "Don't go to other professors. It will be a lot more troublesome if they come."
Then he asked Kanna to go to the auditorium first, and he turned and walked towards the stairs.
