Chapter 798 Outsiders
A woman was squatting by the river washing her face.
She was wearing a gray robe and a hood on her head. Her long brown chestnut hair fell to her knees. The water gurgled and slid down her forearms into her sleeves.
"Girl, where are you from?"
Two strong men with axes on their waists stood behind the woman. They stood with their hands on their waists, wearing cloth clothes, with unkempt hair and dirty faces. Their big beards were stuck together by wine or something. They looked like local farmers.
"This is none of your business."
The woman stood up, shook the water off her hands, and then peeled off the hair stuck on her cheeks. There was a pair of blue eyes on her beautiful face.
"We haven't seen you in this area."
The strong men didn't know what to do. Instead, they took a few more steps towards the woman. They deliberately turned the axes on their waists slightly in the direction of the woman.
"There are many people in Asgard. You may not know everyone."
The woman took off her hood and shook her hair. She stroked her forearm and the water droplets evaporated immediately.
"There are not many villages nearby. The nearest Hemu Town has only a few hundred people. You didn't get on a horse, so it's unlikely that you came from far away. We know everyone in Hemu Town, so you are definitely not one of them."
The strong men seemed to have the answer long ago. They saw that the woman was an outsider.
"If you know better, you may live longer."
The woman sighed, her eyes revealing impatience, as if she had encountered such a situation more than once.
When the woman was about to take action, the two strong men suddenly shook their bodies, and two purple energy swords pierced their chests. In their horrified and puzzled eyes, the blades rotated, then turned into iron hooks, and retracted into their bodies.
"Wow...Oh!!" The two strong men curled up and fell on the grass. The energy blades pulled out a bunch of internal organs and intestines from their backs.
Shrilly walked out from the side of the forest. She was also wrapped in a coarse cloth robe. Her purple hair had grown very long and was tied into a big braid hanging on her chest.
"You have to do it so late? Do you enjoy being teased by men?" Shreli asked.
Looking at the two bodies on the ground, Diana snorted coldly and said, "Go to your rainbow pony, we are here to get information, there is no need to kill anyone we see."
"You are becoming more and more like Lucina. You didn't call me that before." Shreli said.
"Stop talking nonsense, we can't go to Riverwood anymore. We have been too ostentatious these days, and people in the tavern have noticed us." Diana sighed.
"Isn't Asgard where the gods live? Why do I feel that it is the same as the rural areas of the Federation, full of farmers and old perverts." Shreli said.
"I don't know, maybe even in the God Realm, people will be divided into different levels. What have you found out?" Diana asked.
"There is no useful information. No one has ever seen a girl with brown skin, a strong body, and wearing strange clothes." Shreli shook her head.
"Well... still... no news..." Diana was a little disappointed. She didn't ask for any valuable information.
Chen Ke and his team stayed in Asgard for nearly a month. After living in seclusion in a forest, they began to look for Lucina's traces. Because Chen Ke and Xu Jing had Asian faces, only Lucina and Shrelily, two white faces, were suitable to come out to gather intelligence.
The two of them disguised themselves as peasant women and visited many nearby villages and towns. They didn't find anyone, but many people nearby began to inquire about them.
"If you ask me, she must have fallen into the void. I don't mean anything else, but sometimes Chen Ke should face reality." Shrelily said.
Diana looked at Shreli with an unhappy expression on her face. Shreli spread her hands and shrugged helplessly.
"Even if she died, you can't get him." Diana said, then walked past Shreli and bumped her shoulder.
Shreli smiled, looked at Diana's back, and said, "Maybe he's not that determined."
...
"Get up! Quick! You're not just capable of this!"
Lucina carried a sledgehammer and paced around Eivor. At this moment, he was lying on the ground, and the shield in his hand was a little cracked.
"I have to admit... you're really strong..." Eivor got up from the ground and removed the shield from his forearm. That was really powerful just now. He felt that his entire arm was removed.
"You were, the general of Asgard?" Lucina held the hammer in both hands and stared at Eivor.
"Yes, I led three thousand warriors to repel the attack of the frost giants." Eivor held a stone axe in his right hand, lowered his body slightly, and stared at Lucina.
The two suddenly fell silent, their eyes fixed on each other's every move.
Suddenly, Eivor took a step forward and attacked Lucina's lower body. The axe blade slid along Lucina's abdominal muscles, leaving a red mark on her muscles.
Lucina swung her hammer and hit Eivor's shoulder, but Eivor dodged it. His steps were flexible and steady, leaving Lucina's left side exposed.
Eivor retracted his axe and chopped at her back. Lucina stood firm and rushed towards Eivor with her left shoulder.
"Bang!"
Eivor staggered. In his memory, he had never been knocked back by a woman. At the same time, Lucina stretched out the long hammer handle and hit his heel, and he fell to the ground.
Lucina raised the hammer, made an attacking gesture towards Eivor who was sitting on the ground, and then smiled.
"You lost again. It seems that I can also be a general." Lucina said.
Eivor also smiled, and suddenly tripped Lucina, causing her to fall towards him.
Lucina suddenly hit the ground with a hammer in mid-air, then stabilized her posture, and almost crushed Eivor's thigh with her left foot, but the next moment, Eivor's ax blade was also pressed against Lucina's neck.
"If this was on the battlefield, you would die." Eivor said.
"You're cheating." Lucina stood firm and pulled Eivor up.
"In war, there is only life and death, no rules. Amara, don't stop until the enemy can't move. If you don't have this awareness, even soldiers are not qualified, not to mention generals." Eivor taught.
"Does your army have to be so harsh during training?" Lucina asked.
"Yes, fight until the opponent is exhausted and unable to move," Eivor said.
Lucina suddenly punched Eivor in the nose. He covered his nose and fell down. When he let go, his palm was covered with blood. He looked up at Lucina and smiled approvingly.
"That's right...sister." Eivor praised.
Lucina smiled, threw the hammer aside, and went back to her cell to rest.
Several strong men on the side helped Eivor up, wiped the blood, and then sat aside.
"What's that girl's background..." the strong man asked.
"I haven't seen it, but it's definitely not an Asgardian." Eivor shook his head.
"She is very strong and can make Asgardian warriors bleed with one punch. Did you see how she dealt with the rock python? She broke her head with her bare hands... No warrior can do that..." said the strong man.
"Of course I know... Have you seen the stone ring around her neck? These stone men restricted her power, otherwise... she would have escaped long ago." Eivor said.
"She is... a witch?" the strong man asked.
"I guess so. She is our chance. We may really have a way to escape..." Eivor said.
"We can't rashly cooperate with witches! Thor once had instructions...witches who are not under his command are all enemies of Asgard!" said the strong man.
"Escape first, then talk about other things. Amara doesn't look bad. Maybe we can convince her to become Thor's Valkyrie." Eivor said.
