Chapter 674: The Origin of the Way of the Human Emperor and the Inside Story of the Dispute over Its Interpretation
In the Middle Ages, the Dao sect was in turmoil, and the dispute between Chan and Jie was in full swing. The big guys had to be careful about their face when they fought, but the small pawns under them fought and turned it into a sea of blood and corpses.
As Chan, which advocated the human race as the authentic and excluded aliens, became the Xianjiao, the human race officially became the master of all spirits in heaven and earth, and this pattern continues to this day.
Moreover, as time went by, the trend not only did not reverse, but became more and more obvious. The human race alone surpassed the sum of all the other races.
The Taoist scriptures say: Misfortune is the foundation of blessing, and blessing is the foundation of misfortune.
The human race is powerful, which is a good thing for the human race. At least they don’t have to worry about being regarded as meat by the demons as in the ancient times. Now it is the demons who have to worry about being exterminated by the human race. It is miserable and miserable. Thirty years in the east and thirty years in the west, nothing is more than this.
However, as the Taoist scriptures say, the human race is powerful, which is not entirely a good thing.
According to the theory of contradiction, when external contradictions subside, internal contradictions that were not obvious in the past will suddenly erupt and become the main contradiction.
Whether it is the demon clan, the witch clan, or other demon clans, they can no longer stop the rise of the human race. The human race has no opponents. Then, he himself is his own opponent.
In a nutshell, the human race began to split, unity was no longer there, and internal strife appeared and intensified.
The root cause of this result is actually the deep-seated contradiction of Taoism. When the saints passed down the Taoism, this contradiction already existed. Unless the way of inheritance of Taoism is changed, it is impossible to change it.
Whether it is the Chanjiao, the Jiejiao, or even the demon clan and the witch clan, they all pay great attention to the qualifications of the descendants, and this is where the problem lies.
Whether you admit it or not, the world is a pyramid. People with good qualifications and people suitable for cultivation are just a part of the people at the top of the pyramid. Most people, no matter how hard they try to cultivate, can't even get started.
There is nothing to be surprised about. This world is so big, and the resources are fixed. The immortal path seeks outside the heaven and earth, which can be called a predatory plague.
If everyone in a world enters the immortal path, then it is conceivable that sooner or later this world will become a world without spiritual energy.
With more people entering the immortal path, whether it is heavenly calamity or human calamity (also known as the so-called demon calamity) will become very frequent. In the end, with a series of killings, the overloaded world will get back on track, regardless of good or evil.
Otherwise, the world will sink into the ruins. This is a cyclical process, so that some worlds have a small demon calamity every hundred years and a large demon calamity every thousand years, which is not groundless.
Back to the issue of qualifications, the intergenerational inheritance of immortal qualifications is particularly obvious. If the ancestors enter the immortal path, then the descendants are likely to be qualified to practice, and, with the accumulation of the predecessors, his descendants will make progress in the practice process more conveniently and faster than others.
The result is that the world is becoming more and more polarized, the strong are getting stronger, and the weak are getting weaker. A polarized world is destined to not last long.
The way of heaven is to reduce the surplus to support the insufficient; the way of man is to reduce the insufficient and serve the surplus.
Heaven and man are in opposition, the strong follow the way of man, and the weak follow the way of heaven. It has nothing to do with good or evil, but it has to do with one's own foundation, which includes qualifications, family background, etc.
One of the promised escapes is to give the world a way out. In a world where only qualifications are respected, is it possible that people with poor qualifications will be slaves and servants for their entire lives and never have a chance to turn over?
Obviously, as the spirit of all things, even the human race who are not qualified to practice Taoism cannot be underestimated. A brand new road and a brand new system are built, and humanity comes out with the trend.
Humanity actually has many interpretations. The humanity in the struggle between heaven and man mentioned earlier is the most widespread, which refers to the selfish heart, which has nothing to do with whether it is human or not;
There is also the humanity from the perspective of race. This humanity refers to the continuation of the luck of the human race, which is sometimes also called human luck.
There are also meanings such as reproduction and growth. Believe me, you don't want to hear from the doctor that you can't be humane. I don't know if this saying is because the human race is good at reproduction.
And the human way that we say is opposite to the immortal way is sometimes called the way of the emperor. The immortal way seeks to be extraordinary and only cares about oneself, while the way of the emperor seeks the people to grow and prosper, and the country is rich and the people are strong.
The former represents the interests of some people at the top of the pyramid, while the latter truly represents the vital interests of the vast majority of the human race at the bottom. Who wants to be born to worship the immortals and shout out that my life is in my own hands, not in the hands of God?
The result is not difficult to imagine. As soon as the way of the emperor appeared, it was a grand spectacle and swept the heavens. Although it is still not comparable to the immortal way, with the addition of a god way that is between the immortal way and the human way, the two ways of man and god are against the immortal way, two to one. It is hard to say how much advantage the immortal way really has.
In fact, this is also the current situation of most realms. The reason why the boundless realm seems a little different can actually be guessed from the name of this realm.
The boundless world, the boundless world, is wild and desolate. When the Taoist sect entered this realm, it was still a world of demons. After tens of thousands of years of attacks, there are still water tribes, and the human race is far from being dominant.
In short, the external contradictions have not been eliminated, and the internal contradictions have not risen to the main contradictions for a while. In addition, with a series of Taoist methods, there is no room for the rise of human and divine ways. (After realizing the author's intention in naming it, deduct 1)
Analyze specific problems specifically, don't copy and paste.
In fact, the internal division of the human race was the most noteworthy thing in the Middle Ages. It had already begun to show signs at that time. If the Taoist sect had paid more attention to it, it would not have been so embarrassing in the recent ancient times.
However, the dispute between Chan and Jie at that time was so dazzling that it obscured the undercurrents surging underneath.
Chan sect ruled the heavens and thought it had no rivals, but the Western Buddhism, which saw the trend of the division of the human race, combined the two ways of gods and humans and built a Buddhist country.
Mahayana Buddhism, which aims to save all living beings, is extremely prosperous in the mortal world. Many Buddhist guardian gods descended and were involved in the rolling human wishes. In the recent ancient times, it slapped the Taoist sect hard, and a large number of Taoist immortals turned to Buddhism. In the dispute between Chan and Jie, Buddhism took the lead.
Of course, later, the Taoist sect also used small tricks to create Hinayana Buddhism, splitting the powerful and infinitely glorious Buddhism into two, greatly reducing the threat. There are repeated disputes in the dispute between Chan and Jie.
Up to now, the situation is basically balanced, and no one has the ability to defeat the other. After the dispute of interpretation, there have been many disasters in the heavens, but none as massive as this one.
