Chapter 776: Inside and Outside
"Diana...? Did you see that?" Lucina became alert. She moved towards the door of the bathroom and looked inside carefully.
There were six faucets in a row in the bathroom, without partitions. The sailors had to be honest when taking a bath. There was also a door opposite, leading to another crew dormitory.
Lucina didn't think she was seeing things wrong because she didn't see the shadow just now. She had a bad feeling, so she immediately turned back to find Diana.
At this moment, the door of the crew's living cabin was suddenly covered with white sharp teeth, and it snapped shut!
"Fuck! Diana! Diana!" Lucina exclaimed. The door in front of her was gone, leaving only a sewn flesh slit.
Lucina grabbed the edge of the flesh slit and tried to pull it open, but found that she couldn't guide her power out.
"What's going on..." Lucina tried hard, and the muscles on her arms tightened, but no matter how hard she tried, the witch's power couldn't be exerted.
She remembered what Diana said, that the ship was psychically sealed, and it seemed that the psychic power was restricted.
"Diana! Diana! Can you hear me?!" Lucina shouted behind the wall. No one responded to her. She was filled with anxiety. She pounded the wall twice and cursed the ship.
Witch Hunter...
A fishy wind blew up her ponytail. The dangerous breath made Lucina's hair stand on end. She turned around and saw a humanoid thing with red flesh and no skin rushing towards her. Two-thirds of the head was split vertically with a mouth full of spikes, and it was about to bite her neck.
Lucina subconsciously stretched out her left hand to block it. The sharp teeth embedded in her forearm fiercely, biting blood.
Lucina groaned in pain and hit the thing's head with her right fist. She hit it three times, flattening the flesh head of the thing. The thing loosened its mouth and tried to escape.
Lucina stepped forward and punched it at the back of its head, knocking it out, hitting the wall on the left, and then lying on the ground.
She jumped up and stomped the thing's head into a pool of meat.
"Fuck you! Shit!" Lucina stomped on it a few more times, confirmed that the thing was no longer moving, and cursed a few more times before calming down.
She was alone now, and there was only one way to go in this bathroom.
Lucina raised her left wrist, which was lined with twelve deep tooth marks, bloody and blurred. The witch's ability to heal herself was limited, and the wound did not recover automatically. She sighed, covered her wrist and walked into another crew dormitory.
In the dark, a person sat by the door.
Lucina walked forward carefully and found that it was a team member sent by Li Moyang. He was wearing a special marine operation tights, but his whole body was covered with bite wounds and he was dead.
The body leaned against the door, with many shells scattered on the ground, and a submachine gun in his arms.
Lucina pulled the gun out of the body's hand. It was a PP-19-01 Warrior submachine gun with a folding stock, using two parallel magazines and firing 9mm pistol bullets.
She opened the magazines and looked at them. One magazine was empty, and the other was half full. She searched the body for a while and found only a completely unused magazine.
"It's better than nothing."
Lucina took out the bullets from the chamber, pulled the bolt a few times, then tried the trigger, then inserted the magazine again, loaded it, and folded the butt. Then, she removed the empty one on the parallel magazine and replaced it with a full one.
This gun was equipped with a wide-view red dot sight and a tactical flashlight on the gun head. Lucina took the gun, opened the door and walked to the corridor on the other side.
She returned to the corridor at the beginning. Lucina turned around and looked for Diana without saying a word. When she arrived at the door of the first crew dormitory, she realized that everything had changed.
The originally broken hanging window was intact. Outside the window, the blood-red sea was calm...
"Damn it... I must have entered a fantasy... It would be great if Chen Ke was here..." Lucina felt that trouble was coming. This ship was far more dangerous than it looked.
She pushed open the door of the crew dormitory. There were four red humanoid monsters standing inside. She was stunned for only a second, and just before they pounced on her, she closed the door immediately.
There were two magazines, and there were probably only more than 40 bullets in total. That team member wasted a lot. Lucina switched the gun to single-shot mode to avoid wasting bullets.
She turned around and walked to the other side. In the second crew lounge, the monster that she had stepped on and shot in the head was resurrected and was staggering towards her.
Lucina raised the gun, aimed at its head, thought about it, lowered the muzzle, and fired a shot at its knee. With a snap, a crisp gunshot, the bullet hit the right leg of the red monster, and it shook and twisted towards the wall.
Lucina quickly stepped forward and swung her right fist at the monster's newly grown head!
Bang!
The monster was knocked out, and Lucina stepped forward and stomped on its head, turning it into a pool of blood.
These things will come back to life after being killed, and there is no point in wasting bullets on them. Besides, the psychic energy is sealed in the ship. Lucina finally figured out why this ship is called the Witch Hunter.
She had to find Diana quickly, this ship was a trap.
…
Diana heard Lucina calling her, she looked back, and Lucina was gone.
"Little Tiger?" Diana called. No one answered.
She looked at the door of the bathroom and frowned.
"Little tiger...?" Diana walked towards the door and looked into the bathroom. There was no one inside.
At the same time, she noticed something approaching from behind.
Diana immediately turned around and saw a human figure made of red flesh and blood rushing towards her. There was a vertical crack on its head, and it was full of sharp teeth.
Diana raised her hand and wanted to spit fire at it, but after a few sparks came out of her fingertips, there was no follow-up.
"Psychic closure... Damn it." Diana cursed and quickly stepped back to avoid the bite of this thing.
Then, she kicked the red monster with a side kick, as if kicking into a ball of mud.
Something was scratching the door. Diana saw the door of the cabin being pushed open, and two more red monsters rushed in from the outside. She didn't hesitate for a second and turned around and rushed into the bathroom.
The blood flowing from the drain and the faucet gathered together to form more red monsters. They were made of blood coagulation. Diana subconsciously associated them with the vampires.
"Could it be a vampire... little tiger?! Lucina?!" Diana shouted as she ran. She was very worried that Lucina would be in danger.
There was a body sitting at the door of the second crew dormitory. Diana took a quick glance and saw that it was someone sent by Li Moyang. He was bitten all over by the monster and had been dead for a long time. There were bullet shells everywhere on the floor, but no gun was seen.
Diana opened the cabin door and came to the corridor on the other side again. The broken portholes poured in wind and rain, and the red ocean rolled with waves.
She turned around and closed the door, then ran to the innermost part of the cabin.
